What is this interior piece called and can I replace it?

Hey guys, long story short, I stuffed 4 chicks in the back of my coupe and they broke an interior piece. I already emailed some shops about this but wanted to ask: does anyone know if I can order this part and replace it despite the fact that this repair is uncommon.

Yea you should be able to order a new rear ashtray assembly no problem. Look for a BMW part number on the piece and call your local dealer with the number. Probably a $40 part, give or take a few dollars. According to the chart in the link below, it appears to be Part#51166960688 (item#6 on the illustration). Verify the number with the part in your hand to confirm.

It may have just been knocked off its mounting tabs. Swing by your local dealer and ask someone to take a look at it. It should slide and lock into place which could be a quick reinstall on the service drive, if you're lucky.

I took a look at it, the clips snapped.
