E92 M3 by Assist Kyoto with TE37 Super Lap and the Laptorr Front Spoiler
I was going through my emails and when I got these emails.... I had to share.
The Assist Kyoto is a Tuning/Race Prep shop in Japan known for their very high quality machined parts such as their top mounts and metal bushings. They are also responsible for the creation of the Laptorr Front Spoiler and Exhaust for the E92 M3. The Reason, for my post is none other than this perfect sample of 18" TE37 Super Lap that has just been released. I have not been able to get exact specs on them yet. I will share as soon as I get them. For now, I believe that they are running 18-9.5/10.5 with 265/35-18 Advan A050 Tires in the front. Not too sure about the rear?~! Enjoy... Bonus Pic!

I really like the Laptorr front lip. Not bad at all.
Makes the front look VERY aggressive and a lil bit of VIP styling. Any word on pricing? |

Sweet! From a quick translation of the Assist Kyoto website at http://www.assist-kyoto.co.jp/produc...odel_92m3.html it looks like the front wheels are 9.5" +15 and the rears are 10.5" +20. Couldnt figure out the tire sizes.
And it also looks like they're running a 380mm Brembo brake set up too. Last edited by sawzall; 07-28-2010 at 12:02 AM.. |

If the wheel is designed for it like the VOLK wheels. CCW's would be another option.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

There's been a couple threads about the 18" TE37s clearing the Brembo 380mm BBK. See this thread: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...ght=380mm+te37 and http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...ght=te37+380mm. Apparently a select few 18" wheels can fit these BBK.

The lip is very functional with cooling duct and an actual working diffuser for faster airflow from under the lip
