Hello goodbye!

Just bought an '08 E92 M3! What an amazing car this is! I am absolutely blown away and so happy to have upgraded! Have been waiting for this for quiet some time now.

Traded my e92 335i that I got with ED in 07. This was great car too. I kept it in mint condition and put 50k on it. It was sad to see it go but also pretty easy to forget about it with this new beast in my garage! My true for the \\\M division. You can just feel and tell how much work, research, engineering and passion they put into their cars.

Thanks for all of the post that allowed me to do my research and read about so much of the useful information. Next: I need to clay this car...

Congratulations, and welcome to the ///M family! The 335 is a great car, and while many people make lots of power out of them to beat M3s, there's just always something missing, I feel.

Have fun with the M3, she's gorgeous.

Thanks! I was more into AW but when I saw IB in person I really liked it. I also like 220's with it.

Thanks! I agree with the 335i "thing". M3 is just fantastic in the way it is balanced. BTW I also really like the torque as well. There is plenty at 2k rpms. Not sure why many feel that its insufficient. The only difference is that 335i starts about 1k or less earlier.

Congrats. The car looks good! Be sure to take it easy on the 1-2 shift as it likes to be finessed rather than forced. Enjoy!
