Challenge *Street* X Pipe

any opinions on the benefits of the "street" challenge X-pipe? i can't find much info on this during a search (not, the sport, race or race+ but the street version).

I'm trying to weigh the risks on warranty of eliminating the secondary cats versus the gains. since the street pipe retains the primary cats this may lessen risk but if there's no a lot of gains ...

thoughts?

not a lot to be gained at secondaries. power comes from removing primaries primarily.

You won't feel any noticeable gains but it will change the pitch of your exhaust (in a good way) and make it slightly louder. I ran one on my last M and it does not trip any CEL's since your primaries remain. You will occasionally notice a very slight smell if you startup in a garage.

Not for power but if your looking to enhance the sound, it's s nice addition. I added it on my last M because the eisenmann sport was a hair too quite for me in the higher rpm range. The street x pipe gave it just enough volume and it didn't require any tune to deal with CEL's. For a better explanation check out my challenge exhaust review here:
