Onto Second Set of StopTech 380 mm Friction Rings
After three sets of front pads, it was time to replace the friction rings. Pretty straightforward installation. About 20 min each corner.
Old ring. Old ring vs. new ring. All drive pins need to be replaced, which came with each order of new friction ring. Note orientation of the belleville washers. One drop of Loctite for each pin. (came with the rings too) All done! Ready for more track time. |

Just finished my last track day of the season yesterday and it looks like I'm ready for my third set of pads on my StopTech ST60/ST40 setup. Should I expect to replace my front rotors after the new pad set is done, or is there a certain remaining rotor thickness you look for?

Just ordered new front rotors for my AP kit. I feel good about getting 2+seasons (probably 25 track days) out of these.
