Hey guys I actually had the ohlins installed during the summer and have been enjoying them for a while and still love them. The comfort and adjustability level is amazing. In full honesty its not a hard core track set-up and not a super comfy set-up. It is a true fit both worlds set-up. Still think is best money spent for the car. I track about 10-12 times a year and my e92 is my daily. Once installed the feel and balance was noticeable instantly, after a week on them I had them corner balanced just because it was the right thing to do. But let me tell you it got even better, the grip level is crazy. I ride on 8 clicks out from full hard and with the GF in the car 12 clicks out and she has zero complaints. I came from kw sleeve over, so 1kx better. Look at my signature, I have a lot items to stiffen the car up and still good daily. I paired them with Vorshlag camber plates. Here are some pics taken. Feel free to ask any question

Looks great. Love how perfect the ohlins components are made. Also noticed you did the same as me and did not cut down the dust boot for the rear shock. I zip tied it identical to how you did on the body. Have no idea why they tell you to cut this. Makes no sense. I also left my front boots uncut and zip tied as well. Glad you're enjoying the coilovers. Maybe one day I'll get some camber plates to add to mine.

glad to see smart people think alike.

Well I set my height to a proper level for good mechanical grip and corner balanced. But just the fact that you can adjust the height with out affecting the travel that means a lot. I say if someone what a really low ride they can achieve it. If you see on pic 7 you have a adjustment on the hun for height and one under the spring for spring preload. Between both you have a huge range of adjustments.

Thanks for that! This kit looks awesome! Do you happen to have a pic of the car's stance with these on? Have they lowered the car right down? How does the ride feel? I've seen some coilovers kits with springs leaving the car a bit soft

in my opinion the ride is good. its firm and yet compliant. you can lower the car too much in my opinion with these, proper settings always suggested. I lowered 7mm more than ohlins recommendations.

I dont have a pic of the free standing right now, but this is a the track under acceleration

Great photos and glad you're enjoying the kit.

yeah I got them before. I got them in results to the KW sleeve over. Sorry but thought they were total garbage. But I should have know that they are meant to just lower not improve handling. Honestly I feel with ohlins RT you dont need the RD sways, but it will cost me more money to remove them, than what I can sell them for. I think if you are stock suspension the RD can help a lot. but with proper coilover M sways are good. the reason I sway that, with out real sticky tires there are too stiff and you have less grip. I have any setting above the softest in the rear it is real tail happy.

That I'm not sure. I have 13k miles on them. Still feel new. I'll keep riding till they don't feel right and I'll send to rebuild. That's why I kept my stock stuff

I was advised by Ohlins that 50-60k miles would be a fair life expectency for mainly road use with a dozen or so track days per year. They are engineered to be durable and not require frequent rebuilds unlike Nitron and Intrax for example.
