Matte black ///M badge doesn't match.

Yes I'm anal, but one reason I didn't install this right away was because the color of the stripes isn't the same. See pic.

I got this one from EAS I think (for free on here, so I'm not complaining), but is there a version out there that matches? My sticker came sorta peeled off also.

You'd probably be best off getting some vinyl cut in the exact color you want

Honestly does it really matter, though? I mean not even BMW agrees on what the significance of those colors is, so who's to say the badge you got from EAS isn't more accurate?

Haha I know ... I'm just anal and wanted to ask if anyone else noticed.

Off topic, but I hate seeing non-original emblems on any car. Just keep the emblem (especially that ///M, which IMO is one of the most beautiful automotive emblems ever).

...but that's just me, so do what you want.

I paid enough for that $$$M so I tend to think I earned the right to wear it...then again I debadged all of my cars in the past

I waffled over it for ever (thought it would look 'empty'), but I finally decided to take it off and haven't looked back since.

You paid for the car, not the badge on the back... and if you think otherwise, I have a slightly used original M3 badge I'll sell to you for only half the premium of the M3 over a 335.

I actually like the richer colors that are present on the stripes of the matte black M3 badge.

+1, the OEM badges look a bit faded, which only get worse after time.

Besides, what difference does it make? Once it's on the car, you'll never know that they don't match because they're not side by side any more. I don't even think ///M guys would be able to tell the difference either if they weren't side by side.

I dont know what to say

imo the colors look nice and bright, depending if you have blacked out tails or dark colored rims it will match even better, but to complain about the 5 mm of size difference or color brightness is a little much.

Don't know where you can purchase a set of matte black M3 badges but I think they cheapen the look of the car. The colored stripes on the M badge looks really tacky and cheap
