Most E46 M3 owners are dicks.
Most E9X M3 owners are nice.

Threads started by those who do zero research and post basic questions that have been addressed in various threads for a 10 yr old platform are the worst. i.e. What exhaust sounds best, what oil should I use, should i go with BE or VAC...to name a few.

I've been on the forum since '15 and did a lot of searching without ever having to ask about a lot of things since a lot has already been questioned for as long as the car has been around.

Apparently, this thread is not car specific

Guys, constantly talking about their spouses. 'Is she gonna like my car?Is she gonna let me spend the money?' Keep the corny stuff for when you are watching the Ellen Degeneres show, which I am sure you do, cause your girl told you to

Wow, I'm actually surprised at the number of people who don't like black wheels, I thought I was even more alone in that one. I'm also in agreement with the burble tunes, they are for poseurs and I have no freaking idea why so many people like it and now even BMW is doing it from the factory. I hope this fad dies a quick death.

I think a lot of people missed the point of the thread though.

I like black wheels

This thread did turn into a general "things we dislike" thread. Maybe consider renaming the title? haha

I happen to really like M-stripes in the grille! Especially the metallic painted ones from JBSpeed. I can't stand it on a non-M though.

- Stance-ing
- Bagging
- Wings (on street cars)
- Loud exhausts (on street cars)
- M stripes anywhere other than where the M group put them

Now, you kids get off my lawn!

I actually like the look if the second hump on the dash for the Nav better than not having it. No Nav dash looks cheap to me.

Lowering springs just to remove the wheel gap.
Catless exhausts
Fake CF vinyl anywhere, especially in the engine bay or on the roof. I have seen a few cars with sunroof and the CF vinyl around. Yugh

Also the wheels mentioned in the first comments look poor on the m3. And black zcp/bbs ch wheels are awesome

I don't trust stud conversions on our cars. They're not pressed in from the back like they do on cars made to have studs. Had a bad experience with studs backing out, so I've stuck with regular bolts on my E92.

Single hump dash looks bad.
The CIC iDrive is quite useful.
White and black are boring colors for an M3.
Pre-LCI taillights look fine. LCI look only slightly better.
The sunroof makes the interior feel more open and bright. It is superior to slick top and equal to CF.
Brushed aluminum trim is better than carbon leather. The interior needs the contrast and it matches all of the other silver accents.
ACM mod with test pipes sounds fantastic. The rasp is the best part.
The OEM exhaust tips look good.
TE37s are hideous on almost all cars, but especially on the e9x.
BBS and HRE wheels look worse than OEM ZCP wheels on the e9x.
Gunmetal wheels always look better than black wheels.
The seatbelt extender thing is nice to have and works almost every time.
Rebuilt throttle actuators are a waste of time and money.
E90s have ugly taillights. The shape is weird.
Dark window tint looks bad. No window tint looks bad.

I agree with most of these things, especially the TE37s
