Wouldnt look to bad just try to throw some springs or coils as fast as you can cause it wont look good either. When i had my E46 M3 i parted it out and the last part to go were the BBS LM's and it looked pretty goofy. I dont think e92's have as bad as wheel gap though.

Beautiful! The space between the top of the tire and bottom of the fender is uniform unlike OEM.

+1. The drop really compliments the wheels.

I have the opposite opinion.

OEM suspension. Still goes like it was meant to too.

Looks great. Judge for yourselves...

Cant speak for 20s, wouldnt fit em.

Not sure silver wheels would look the same though to be fair to the pro drop brigade.

Personally Ive been there on previous cars and I wouldnt want to mess with the handling on the M3. The brakes though, grrr, they need swapping.

Ok, LM's with no drop wouldn't look bad but with a drop they would look so much better!

"big fail" is a bit harsh as demonstrated above from the posted pics

Anyway, you're asking the wrong question. Surely any M3 owner is more concerned about the handling than the looks?

I cant imagine a dropped M3 on 20s will handle as well as one left OEM, although I havent driven one so Im not judging.

+1. changing the ride height without changing other aspects of the suspension doesn't make sense in the road racing world (and in the streetability aspect in my book). But then again, 90% of us are road racing posers anyways, like myself.

Note: I would never change my springs on the M3, probably wont' do coilovers either, unless I'm going to a full suspension package tuned to make it all work together. It's like you trying to be a better football player, but you only work out your quads or you buy $200 Nikes, your performance gains are going to be minimum, it's the full package that matters.

Please note that I did not say just a drop would improve handling in any way. But a fine tuned suspension would
