I ordered my 2011 E92 with this red/black tu tone interior and it arrived in the country last week,so I should have it before month end at home.It will be Space Grey with the carbon roof.I am quite looking forward to getting this car as it will be a nice change from having an all black interior.

Would you recommend the 2 tone even with a Melbourne Red color exterior, given that fox red and melbourne red are 2 different shades of red?
I would not recommend the 2 tone fox Red/Black with Melbourne Red Color Exterior But I would not pass on Palladium Silver/Black/Black That would still give u the 2 tone u want and still keep it from looking odd with the Melborune RED..

OR second OPTION!!!! You get the 2 tone Red black.. if you don't like it I'll trade u my Full Black for the 2 tone Red Black.. BTW i have a Coupe 2011

Navin-its your money man. Considering you have to live with it on a daily basis. Assess if the $1,250 option for the 2 tone leather option will return the favor.

If the idea is to have an individual M3-would suggest forking out the $6k to have a truly standout M3 where you can also have a piano black interior trim. Is the E90 M3 Sedan not a choice considering you have kids? I hear the next generation M3 will not have a sedan.

As a MR/FR owner I'll tell u this, it's a risk worth taking the two colors go really well together and black/foxred is just amazing and I wish it was available when I ordered mine. Good luck.
Could you post pics of your car...showing MR and the Fox Red/black.

Thanks for the options, Saurab! Looks like I'll be going with all black leather interior, after seeing a local E92 M3 member's Melbourne Red with black leather interior. I'll use the money I save with not going 2 tone and use that towards the Navigation System that I initially wasn't going to get but am now hooked on.

All good points.

However, I met up with a local member today and saw his Melbourne Red E92 coupe... my wife and kids were there as well and we had NO problem getting the kids in and out of the car. Both kids and wife are HOOKED on the coupe now, so it looks like I've found my next car in that exact color combination of Melbourne Red exterior and black leather interior.

For more details of my meetup today, you can see the thread below with pics...

Hey all. Has anyone else regretted Fox Red/Black/Black? I ordered my Space Gray E90 with that option. I am a bit torn and don't have much time left to make a change. Not looking for answers, just thoughts after living with it for awhile. Thanks.

I have exactly the same combo on order and can't wait to get it. Once you see it in person, you will be very pleased with it. AND it won't be just like the other thousands of these cars with all black interiors

Just got mine last week. The interior tone is darker, so it is not like a blinding interior. The MR also has different aspects, it is brilliant in the sun, but becomes a much deeper red in the shadows. The car looks incredible in the color. Like some of you, I was dying to see pics of it, so at least you can get an idea.

?speedcloth?

How about saving money and having a more varied interior by getting speedcloth and then save money and weight by getting manual seats?

I love the picture on the build your own page as well but I saw it in person and IMHO it looked kinda cheap-FR is fine on it's own but next to the blackI thought it looked pale and poorly dyed and next to MR it looks sickly orange- again all subjective.

urgh, please no two-tone. I like FR, but not with black. The stitching is the bomb though, but for an extra $2000? Not sure if it's worth it.
