same here. I'm see the pretty SSII car in the parking lot, and I say to myself, man that's an awesome car, wonder who's the owner. Then I say: "it's me!"

It's a SSII owner thing...most won't understand, since most ppl just got the bland white or blue.

I find that every time I park and exit my car, I usually glance back in admiration as I'm walking away. I thought I may have a problem, but I guess I'm not the only one...

its because the color changes in different lighting....any other colors just dont understand

Mine is E90 SSII and I've got similar personal issues.

1. Look back at it every time I park it
2. LOVE the color, in different light, and in ANY light
3. Stand in my garage with a beer and stare in disbelief that it's mine

HEY!! It's not going to stand out there and admire itself so stop judging me.

PS: when we first got the car, my wife said she was looking out the passenger window at every other car on the road and thinking "our car is nicer than theirs"... I said I was basically thinking the same thing, only it was "ours is FASTER".

i'm at one year also,still thrilled with it. also have lbs (look back syndrome.) the interlagos blue changes color in different lighting, too, which i enjoy.
i live in a college town,and this is the first time i've been able to walk through dorm parking lots and not notice that most of their cars are nicer than mine (previous dd was a 96 integra.)

I checked out my wife the other week. I was pedaling home from work on my DD (a Cyclocross Bicycle), and she was out walking the dogs in the neighborhood. I didn't see the dogs right away, and I was like "damn! what do we have here... wait a minute... that's my WIFE!!"
