How long have your tires lasted you?
i have an 08 e92 with Oem 19's, and already in need of new rear tires, after 8500 miles! No, im not a foolish driver, just like to have fun once in a while. Is this considered normal?

Not only is this not normal, considering the driving habits you described, but it's impossible. Especially when you consider the first 1,200-2000 were spent breaking in the car properly.

Oh, it's quite possible. One track day on mile 2,001 will take care of those rears quickly.

Nitto INVO's... 10k miles and the rears were gone. The fronts still had 50% though.

To the OP, you may have rear toe issues. Check to make sure your rear alignment does not have too much toe-in. Even being at the upper limit of BMW recommended range might be too much. I had my car aligned shortly after delivery to make sure I had settings I wanted. A lot of city driving on concrete surfaces could take down a set of PS2s pretty quickly, also. |

I have about 18k miles on my OEM PS2s. Got maybe about 5k miles left. Still searching for a replacement that will last a little longer without compromising too much on performance, comfort, and noise.

My OEM PS2s went bye-bye at 6700 miles, which included six days spent at tracks. There pictures on another thread in this forum, showing the different laters of cords. I didn't mind. The car is meant to have fun. Besides, it gave me an excuse to try some different tires.

I went through my first set in 10,000K but I use my first gear all the way through 5.5K RPM to smoothly kick my into second.
Now that I'm at 17,500K It looks like I need new fronts(soon) and rear(in 1.5K).

I got 8500 so far on the stockers. I am pretty suprised.
On my GT3, I would get about 4000 miles out of the rears and double that on the fronts. I would suspect I could get close to 12-15K out of the M3's rear PS2's, minus any track duty, which will commence soon! lol

I'm at 22k now. Looks like I still got a few thousand more to go.

I have the stock 19's with the PS2's and my fronts look great....but the rears at 9500mi are close to the TWI's. Especially on the inside part of the contact patch. I do drive it hard, and I have tracked it. I would guess from watching them over time, I will make it to 13k or so. Fronts should easily last me to 20k.
