Been looking for this too. Had them on my e46 and thought it really set it apart and more aggresive. But I know the e9x is all integrated so.... options?

Beautiful! I think I saw the thread where you did this yourself. Are you selling them?

Here's mine. OSS designs can do it, but it isn't for the faint of heart. Got to bake open the headlights to do it.

Some more pics in this thread.

SCtud,

Those look great. How much did it cost to have them done? Also, once they are backed open can the matte black plastic housing be painted easily?

The corners were done as an add-on for the OSS angel eyes upgrade, since the headlights are already baked open for that. If you want to do it as a standalone, it's probably not worth it.

The OSS designs angel eyes were done through AKMotorwerk's group buy. What color are you looking to pain the plastic housing? Anything can be done I assume - just gotta work it out through Luis at OSS.
Helix is doing something similar and prices are shown in their thread:

Sounds pretty good however it's a huge let down being that you have to bake the lens to take it off of the housing which is my only complaint other than the huge wait and downtime. Any problems with condensation building up after resealing it? Should I be worried about the lens' discoloring or turning yellowish over time as I have seen on some cars?

I've done this before on my cars myself. If you seal it correctly (completely), there will be no condensation. As for discoloration, that's usually a result of extended UV exposure on inferior plastics, i.e. sitting out in the sun for long periods.

Sweet! Thanks Ramyar! Guess I will have to opt for the overnight delivery to get these done and back to me in a timely manner so I wont be without my car... BTW, Will I have to get my headlights re-adjusted?
