Unhappy Warranty Issue Help Needed

BMW Seattle is blaming my Apex wheels for the vibration I am seeing at 70 MPH. Before my warranty is up in December, I want to determine the true cause of the issue and get it fixed.

What I would like is to borrow someone's OEM wheels and tires. I will provide them with my Apex wheels and tires. They have almost new Michelin Pilot Supersports on them sized 265 in front and 285 in rear. They fit entirely without rubbing.

Basically, I would drive it immediately with the new wheel/tire setup, and determine if the same vibration is there. If so, I would need to take it to the dealer to prove that the issue remains with the OEM set and that the problem doesn't lie with the wheels and tires.

I know I'm not well known yet forums but I'm an active member on the S2000 forums (urBan_dK there also). If anyone would be willing to help me out with this, please send me a PM. Thanks!

Why are you so sure it's not your aftermarket setup? I've had vibrations caused by spacers and mismatched hub bores. I might consider letting you use my ZCPs. Maybe.

I noticed the same issue on my OEM 19's, which I unfortunately do not have any tires for. The Apex setup has been road force balanced, and has runout measurements well within spec. They are also completely hub centric and I am not using any spacers.

If you're willing to let me borrow yours I'd be in your debt and will do what I need to make it as convenient as possible for you.

My car was vibrating at 90mph, the issue was one of the rims inner barrel was bent. Have the wheels balanced.
