Holding back
Happened to me too, car will pull to red line when fully warmed up, then when change gear and accelerate again, will only go to 6000rpm and is holding back and juddering Throttle back and try again and will redline again. Got O2 precat sensor code, changed both precat sensors, cleared code but problem still evident. Has been fine for past year with charger on but now started doing this !! Any suggestions oh wise ones out there !!

OP, in the unlikely event you're still checking in on this thread, you're fine. But just to be safe, after something like that I'd check for a loose nut behind the wheel. I'm thinking you'll find one.

On a manual transmission, you CAN do damage if you hit the rev limiter while downshifting too aggressively, but you still own't hurt it if you hit the limiter on the way up through the gears. |

OP - On a serious note, I recommend you do some research and attend some diving schools/HPDE with instructors. If you are into driving cars, it will change you life!
