Arrow Skyline Run / Back Roads Drive on Saturday Nov. 7th

EDIT: Full route plan is on page 3!

Saturday November 7th! Lets meet up at the iHOP in Gainesville, VA around 9am and head out by 10am. The plan is to do the same route as last time, just in reverse. We'll be taking 29/15 south to 211 west to Skyline drive north. Should be quite by November so we shouldn't have to worry about traffic. Once in Front Royal, it sounds like everyone wants more Melting Pot Pizza so we'll go there Then its the reverse route everyone took before; Across the low water bridge to rt 50, North on Blue Ridge Mt Rd to 7, here you can either head home or follow me down Snickersville Pike to Rt 50 and home from there. Total driving time will be about 3 hours not including stops.

Here's a link to the route: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...8fe84d7f1e5199
(don't look at the driving directions because we'll be going in reverse)

Here's the video from the last run:
[u2b]<object width="873" height="525"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AO7LliwQloA&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x99 9999&hd=1&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AO7LliwQloA&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x99 9999&hd=1&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="873" height="525"></embed></object>[/u2b]

Pictures from the last run:
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=301743
and:

We could make an epic video this time around if some people bring car mounted cameras and we all share each others raw footage

I'm in. Plus 1.
The skyline route from last time was perfect. Plus it'll be more fun this time around since most/all of us will know where we're going and no need to keep track of people in the rear.

What about a reverse route? Take 211 to Skyline drive, go north on Skyline drive into Front Royal, grab some pizza, then take the same route we took before, just backward. Some people can head home when they hit 7 or follow me down Snickersville pike to Rt 50.

What do you guys think?

I'm in again for this ride.... and my passenger Ted from last time should be bringing his 335xi for this ride.

I will also have my GoPro camera mounted on the roof for this ride.

I am new to the area and think I would like to do this, I am open that day. Asked the wife if she wanted to go with me and she asked if she could drive her car..... so we both may be showing up.

Awesome! We're going to have a bigger turnout than last time I think. It's hard to gauge since a lot of the people coming arn't members of this forum. I'd definitely count on at least 25 cars, around 20 of them being M3s.

I saw you posted it there. Yeah 335s are always welcome. Last time we had 3 or 4 Benz C63 AMGs, I'm hoping they'll come this time as well as maybe some other high performance sport cars.
