Question about error code

I just used the Carly OBD2 app to run diagnostics on my 2011 E92. It is showing codes:

Airbag B-pillar left/ B-Saeule links
ECU not present/no response from ECU

Airbag B-pillar right/ B-Saeule rechts
ECU not present/no response from ECU

There is no Airbag light on the dash and I would assume it would be lit if there was a problem with any of the airbags, right? The car was purchased as a salvage from a auto lot after it had be partly/mostly repaired after a front end collision. If I can't be sure the airbags are present, is there a simple/safe way to physically confirm the presence of the airbags?

It is also throwing the following code:

Junction Box Passenger / Beifahrer
Short circuit to positive or open circuit - additional water pump
Code: 00A6D1

I've done some research and it looks like there is a problem with the auxiliary water pump (stuck on?). Apparently that is responsible for warming the car with the ignition off?? If so, I'm in luck at the moment since I also probably have a missing ambient temp sensor which I've read won't allow the heating/AC systems won't work.

Looks like I have some work cut out for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Did you try to clear the faults to see if they come back?

The reason I ask is because When I first used Carly 'iPhone' the diagnostics came back wth a few faults. I took a photo of the screen and cleared the faults. Restarted the car and the faults are not there anymore. Subsequently I have also done a few diagnostics and so far no faults codes yet.

One time, the car did not start with the first press of the 'Start' button, it was a cold start. The car did started with the second press of the button. After that I run the diagnostics again and there were 4 or 5 error codes relating to ignitions. After clearing the codes, they never came back.

If the codes are coming back after clearing I would look into it further.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that: yes, I did clear the codes and they returned.

As an aside: are there multiple ECUs that just won't interact with the Carly software (or any software)?

Thanks!

Had this as well after a battery discharge. Cleared it (with Carly) and have never come up again. Did you try to clear it?

The way I remember it there is a contact on the right/drivers side of the engine that had something to do with this, might be worth making sure its properly connected. Cant remember the details mate but searcing should give you further details.
