Risky! Can it work (Austin Yellow + Sakhir Orange Interior)?
I am debating on ordering my F82 with Austin Yellow on Sahkir Orange interior with the black 19's. Will this combination work?! If not, I might just play it safe and go Alpine on SO. Opinions?

The best part about ordering a car brand new is knowing it is exactly what you ordered.
If you've got an idea thus far from the configurator what it will look like and you're into the look, 100% go for it. Personally, I think it will look good, just very flashy. |

Unless you're leasing it, don't forgot about resale value. That's why I didn't Order SO on SO.

I thought the AY M3 I saw at the Vancouver auto show looked spectacular. The black wheels and the yellow paint with black interior was a perfect match. I wouldn't do SO interior with AY though. But as someone said, if you like it, go for it.

I have been debating this exact combo too. I am bold guy and have an AY M4 on order but I just think Ay/SO might be TOO loud. I am also afraid that it is going to look like the Ronald McDonald mobile.. I hate black interiors but that is what I am going with. I also considered AY/SB but I wasent sure.. I know AY/Blk will look great though. See that combo in Detroit and it was in person.
That being said, I think you should do it! I want to see it. I just hope I dont regret not getting it myself. Oh well, I am already planing on ordering SO Interior on my next M4. Here is a PY/FR E92 M3 http://www.autoevolution.com/news-g-...7638.html#sjmp

In my opinion those two are great colors, but together they do not add to the car, it makes it fade away somehow. SO interior in the gray car will be the killer, but if the outside is loud on its own right, I would be careful with the interior.
As the usual disclaimer I will add that I own a Jack Russell, so I have no taste. |

I would definitely wait to see that combo in person. Personally I would not do it but as someone else mentioned leasing would be a good idea for you

Only if you lease.
That color combination is bold, and that is putting it very politely. If this were a Lambo it might be a different story, but this color combination is quite powerful. |

I am getting an AY M4 with black interior. To me the SO doesn't go with it, but go for what you like/want. If I was going with SO interior, I would go with MG or white (either AW or MW). I want my visual "pop" on the outside, but doesn't means it's right for others.

To the OP. I think you should get what you want. It's not about what others perceive, resale, it's about you. |

Essentially this. I owned an '03 Phoenix Yellow/Imola Red E46 ///M3 back in the day, and despite everybody 'warning' me against it because of [insert reason here], I ordered it and enjoyed it immensely while it was in my possession. It's funny, everybody was quick to utter how resale would be affected, but it was in the dealer's possession less than two weeks before somebody in San Gabriel purchased it.

I'm going SO/SO. Life's too short to pick my car based on what some dipshit wants for it when I sell it.
