Any point in shopping BMW extended warranties from different dealers?
I know there's a butt load of extended warranty threads in the general forum, I really don't want to discuss the merits as I'm fairly certain I should get a BMW extended plan considering I've had a transmission, throw-out bearing, clutch fork, two batteries and several gaskets changed since February.
I'm in Florida, so I don't think I can shop across state lines as it's regulated by the insurance industry (or so I'm led to believe), but within Florida there are a ton of dealers, do their prices vary on the BMW extended warranty products? |

Yes shop around and yes you can go across state lines. I bought mine from a California dealership. I suggest you message/call a few forum sponsors as they can probably get you the best rates.

Of course. The warranty is with BMW, not a particular dealer. Just like when you buy a new BMW you can have it serviced at any BMW dealership, does not have to be where you purchased the car.
