If someone wants to sell you the complete set, maybe I'll take the tweeters - just PM me. (We already split up a set of L7 speakers if you remember).

Why not go aftermarket? Can you get them from tischer or anything?

I have a set, but will probably keep them for when I need to turn the car back to stock.

cuz aftermarket is a pain in the ass
i got some MB Quart RUA-213
which do not technically fit the E92 (they rub on the lower metal frame for the door glass)
they don't sound as good as the logic 7, but i can cross them over at 60hz as opposed to 90-100hz on the logic 7s

i've tried the logic 7 speakers
very good, but they don't go low enough
HIFI mids can't handle too much power

wanna trade your speakers for Logic 7 speakers plus cash?
so you have something to put back when you sell the car

new they are $300, too much for me

Will probably just hang onto them. $300 seems nuts for them though. I'd go for these if I had a "modest" budget.

i look at the underseat subs more as the midwoofer picking up that hole. sub is missing entirely from the individual audio setup though.

what are you doing for bass?

i'm actually using the underseat drivers as subs (SWS-8)
they play from 60hz down
they actually sound damn good, very tight
i used to have a trunk sub, and when i took it out, i'm only missing the 20-30hz range now
unfortunately that's my favourite
will still put a trunk sub that will fire through the ski hatch at a later date
i want to mount thesub to a piece of thick wood and attach that to the ski hatch
so the entire trunk is my enclosure

i don't like the concept of using the under seats for any kind of mid range duty
i think it would ruin the sound, especially the midrange
and i'd guess it would lower your sound stage
