My receipt didn't mention some of the things on your list...Did I get shorted?
I think as long as they change the fluids your car is fine. The dealer did say that the car was telling them to change the microfilter, but they said they know of no reason why that is necessary at this time. Nobody on this board has been able to explain why it would be necessary, so I didn't have any reason to say that it is required.

2 days was a very long time - I think it was mainly an issue they were having with my key telling them that the car needed services that it really did not need. My receipt turned out to be 4 pages! Anyways, the car seems to be running fine and everything is in good shape. Hopefully nothing comes back to haunt me. I might go to a different dealer for my next service just for comparison.

I went to the dealer today and they only changed my engine oil/filter, and the differential oil/filter.

Is there something from BMW that says tranny fluid and the other stuff you have on the list is part of the 1,200 mile service? I would really like the other stuff done on my car.

There is no filter for the diff. Tranny fluid (MTF-LT-2) should be a stock item. Here's the list in the owner's service manual (I think the air filter change is an error):
