You should send this to BMW and get a job in the design studio. Seriously. That's a great looking car.

I think it helps that I really like the current z4 and have been waiting for a z4M coupe to come along...this could fill the bill.
Exactly!! I was getting depressed when i learnt they are not doing a Z4M for this current model. This Zagato thing might just fit the bill nicely if only they do something about the cheap CRX rear end. Them Zagato designers are not a very creative bunch. They merely transplanted what they did for Aston onto the Z. The beautiful front end is courtesy of the Z's intrinsic good looks.

... hmm they messed with the Hofmeister Kink! Sacrilege!

- the front nose is too long (FMR Layout! We need to see/feel it!)
- the front should look like the render of Harold Wood (almost the whole car should)
- the roof look like a viper, bad idea
- the rear top part look like a civic, prius, alpha romeo spider... looks ok from side view but is ugly from behind
- the rear back part, diffuser, is ugly! way too big, look like a seat, an alpha romeo or one of those ridiculous sport hatchback on european road, make the whole coupe line messed even from side view
- the z on the kidney should be painted black
- kidney way too big
- the side vent line, doesn't works for me
+ the detailed hood
+ the alignment between the back window and the side windows
+ the color
+ the interior
+ the craftsmanship

Way too much zagato DNA

http://www.dream-car.tv/2010/04/26/z...ce-car-teaser/

Nice project but I would go for a Z4M Coupe over this car no matter what.

Z+Aston. Looks strange following the line from the front to the rear end

That actually looks pretty good. Nice work. I really wish BMW would build an E89 coupe.

I really like this car, gorgeous example of a coach built automobile.

It's very cool, it's the best version of the Z. However, the small details make the car a bit too tacky.
Expect a Bimmer sport car to be more elegant and classy like the Zs have always been.

You must have seen a previous generation Z4 coupe. This particular Zagato Coupe is a one off which I doubt would be driving around San Diego.
