Washing the M3

I was wondering how everyone washes their car.

I heard the best way to wash the M3 was with the snow foam, rinse, and drying it with a leaf blower..

I want to know how other people wash their cars and what products they use. Tips and pointers would be nice too since I haven't had a car for too long.

Foam gun, rinse, microfiber wash mitt w/ 2bucket method, rinse, and dry with waffle weave mf. i also go from top down and on vertical surfaces i move my sponge up and down, NEVER side to side, EVER. I have zero swirls on my car and no scratches.

Zaino one coat every quarter, clay bar every year or 2 or as needed as this is a bit more abrasive.

Bucket of soapy water. A long handled brush. A shop vac blower. Finally, wipe it all down with micro fibers and some spray wax.

Don't forget tire spray and vaccuum the interior!

1. I was the wheels with griots wheel cleaner three different scrubbers and a small sponge
2. Soak car with water and soap. I use pinnacle auto soap.
3. Rinse car off and then i remove the head from the hose and sheet as much water as I can with a slow flow of water.
4. I dry the car with a micro weave towel
5. Take the car for a little spin to get all the rust of the rotors.
6. Dry all the door jams under the hood and trunk. ( also all water then dripped out of the cracks while cleaning the rotors)
7. Spray quick detail on the rims and dry rims and inside the rims. To see if wheels are clean inside and out I use my finger and rub. Once I don't see any break dust on my finger there clean. (QD I use it meguiars 135 synthetic QD)
8. If doing a complete detail job I get out my clay and clay the car
9. Get out the DA polisher I use a portacable. First if I have swirls I use an orange pad and Wolfgang total swirl remover
10. Then with the DA polisher I use the Wolfgang glaze
11. Wax time. I apply this by hand I use pinnacle sovereign wax.
12. Put on tire gel I use mothers reflection tire gel or optimum tire gel.
13. Clean glass
14. I am done. Unless I am doing the interior as well then that's a whole different list.
