MCB E92 European Delivery Experience + Pics
I finally did the European Delivery on September 3rd. The experience was beyond my expectation. I would highly recommend ED to anyone buying a brand new BMW. I was able to drive on amazing stretch of roads and on a car that felt was made for roads like that. I did not take the usual "pass" route taken by forum members but still came back satisfied. My favourite routes were through Black Forest (M-N, P-Q) as shown on the map. I don't think I need to say anything about S65. This M3 is not like anything that I have driven before. Sorry about the quality of some pictures. Feel free to ask any questions about the ED process or the car.
Specs. Exterior: Monte Carlo Blue, Interior: Rust Brown, Competition Package, Audiophile Package, MDrive, etc. Itinerary: Day 1: Munich Day 2: Fussen, Neuschwanstein Castle Day 3: Route 198 - Austria Day 4: Dornbirn, Bregenz - Austria Day 5: Luzern, Spiez - Switzerland Day 6: Black Forest - Germany Day 7: Baden-Baden, Frankfurt Drop off - Germany |

Congratulations! Your car looks fantastic and I appreciate you putting up pics and especially your route. May do ED next spring or, if not, still looking at a driving trip and wondered about the route through the Black Forest.
Hope your wait now is as short as possible!

Thanks Everyone. Initially I was not sure about Rust Brown and looked into other options. I like this colour now even more than the exterior. Pictures do not do justice.

Congratulations ... and happy trails always
airwave What was your total wait time from day of order to ED delivery? Also did you check with several dealerships as far as ED was concerned? I suppose you did not get any break on the price like our American friends south of the border?

Nice car, nice pics.
However, I don't know if Google likes if you upload their maps to another website - I know anyone can see it, but this is copyrighted material. I have once been sued by a german company because I have put up a map of my location to my website. Besides, I'd like to have that route, so could you be so kind to post the link to it (there is a link symbol on the upper right corner on Google Maps)? Then anybody can use that map and even modify it for their own use.
