Gah! Darn it. I was so sure they would go to around 50k for that one if it sat a bit longer. Enjoy the M, though.

Congrats on the purchase! I have the same car. You should really quit lying about the purchase price of the car, though, and the BS rebate. I think you're a salesman just trying to get more traffic to your dealership. Just thought I'd prepare you for the responses I've had.

Enjoy the car!

LOL, I tried, I offered them $51K, they refused. I let them sit on that offer for 2 days and didn't hear back, so I figured WTH, at 52,500 it was still a stellar deal.

The funny thing is I paid exactly $1500 more for the M3 than I did my 335I in 07' Granted my 335 was a special order that I waited 2 mths for, but still $1500 more for an ALMOST fully loaded M3, I would say is a pretty damn good deal.

trz06 - thats funny, we had the same z06 and now we have the same interlagos launch coupe.

BTW my car was demo with 2K miles. The car is PERFECT, very strong. don't let the fact that its a demo scare you. These cars are good enough that it just doesn't matter. Just work a good buff into the deal because it will likely have some outside scratches.. Just check the tires to see if they are worn.

Just put a deposit on an '08 M3 Coupe at a BMW dealership in Virginia. Negotiated it down to $49,651 + $700 shipping to Boston...

Here are the specs:
- Interlagos on Black Leather
- 6spd
- Premium, Tech, Cold Weather
- Brushed aluminum trim
- Moonroof
- NOT a demo car (209 miles on it)

I'm pretty happy with the deal, but what do you guys think? I also opted for the upgraded wheel and tire warranty, which was $899 for 5 years. According to the dealer and the fine print, it covers cosmetic damage (curb rash), and it covers ANY set of wheels/tires on the car (even aftermarket ones)... that was what convinced me to get it.

Awesome deal. Congratulations. You set the new price standard for the coupe.

It only covers aftermarket wheels that have the EXACT specs of stock wheels. Since most are either wider or bigger I chose not to buy this.

Congrats on a great deal!

wasn't aware of that... oh well, I'm sure I'll still get plenty of use out of the warranty (potholes are terrible in boston).
