Paddock Etiquette at Laguna

Heading over to Laguna for my first SpeedSF event this upcoming weekend and had a question about paddock etiquette. I will have misc materials that I don't want to keep in the car while on the track (tire gauge, oil, tools, etc). Is it okay to bring a bin to store in the parking spot there? Hope to see some of y'all at the track.

Yup, usually unpack at where you plan on parking for the day. You’ll be all good! Enjoy the day

+1, it's pretty chill and everyone that I've hung with has left items in their space.

Enjoy the track! The Corkscrew is still one of my all time fave experiences...point your car to the third tree and trust yourself.

Depending on the cost of the track day, they're incredibly high trust environments. I've left nice impacts, full sets of 359s, jacks, etc neatly in a way that suggests I'd park next to it and didn't worry for a second. I don't think a cheap Laguna day exists but I could be wrong.

Maybe someone else can chime in but I didn't feel like I needed an actual garage / paddock.

i wouldn't hesitate to leave items in the paddock, and i've done it many of times.

Y'all were all right. For a first time track goer, the paddock etiquette was more than I could have asked for. Everyone was remarkably friendly, welcoming and willing to share information. Part of the reason I may be hooked on this for life.
