I'm on order. How long did it take for your car to go from "On order" to "In production"?

It took me about a month at Fields BMW in the Chicago area. It was produced this week! I am told another month for it to show up.

I think mine was a couple of weeks.... just lucked out that my "stealership" had an allocation that I quickly snagged.

before production, i think it will always be "on order" regardless of your actual status.

Update for today called and was told it is in assembly... I guess it missed it's estimated completion date of yesterday... I guess in a couple of days, it'll be complete.... then the waiting (and ship tracking) begins..... I was told that it should be stateside in around 5 weeks since I'm at the west coast.... the saga continues....

according to the automated voice thingy... vehicle completed production and waiting to be released to carrier.... does that mean it's waiting to be transported to the port and picked up by a ship? I hope I'm able to get on a ship right away
