Isn't that how MB are set.

Not sure about new cars, but on MB from a few years ago, the placement of the turn signal/cruise control stalk is opposite of BMW. Have to think about it every now and then.

It is, but beyond being an MB thing, it always just made sense to me.

The CC stalk and blinker stalk is in fact switched, which, doesn't matter to me, but I always did find the blink stalk on MB's too low however.

I like it. I miss it when I drive other vehicles. Only change I would make is to make the lane change feature programmable as far as number of blinks. I would make it 4 blinks instead of 3 myself.

I love it. Far superior to the old mechanical design that clunks back into place after a turn. I also love the triple blink feature. If three blinks isn't enough for you, you can code it up to 7. I tried out 5 for a couple days but found it to be too much.

The cruise control has grown on me. I rarely use it so I would keep forgetting how it works. But I eventually figured out that if you pull or push it with out it clicking, similar to using triple blink on the turn signal, it will increase or decrease by 1 mph. If you pull or push beyond the resistance point, it goes up or down to the nearest 5 mph, then in increments of 5 mph after that. Love it.

Can be done through coding... Had mine set to 5 blinks.

indicators are great, windshield wipers swtiches and features, not so much. I hate the variable sensor part. I wish they'll just give me a variable speed option and just let me handle it.

Wow first world problems the indicator stalk doesn't perform how I want it to.

Lol I like it personally, but it takes a bit getting used to.

Man, people always find something to complain about lol! Do all of these guys have an M3 as their first car or something? Imagine how much they would have hated Honda's and Toyota's as their first cars.

I've done this, too, and more so with the window washing...but I like the function of the stalks a lot. Maybe they need to take a page from Ferrari and start migrating some functionality onto the steering wheel, especially if the DCT is going to be put into more cars in their lineup.

I still look like a retard...I'm going left, no right, no left, no right. Lol. This pales in comparison to the cup holders. What were they thinking?

Cup holders in this car are ridiculous! Flimsy and anytime I have a drink in it I feel uncomfortable. I had a can spill all over my center console once, hard learned lesson! Plus anytime the passenger cup holder is open the passenger always hits it coming in.

To me, it's clever and the fact that it behaves/functions exactly as described in the owner's manual makes user confusion extremely unlikely, provided the manual has been read, though not out of the question.

Let me know if anyone sells bottled hot coffee. Then again, I drink and eat in my car, not really that obsessed about it. I do want to take out the center trim piece to clean up the dried coffee there.

Why don't you get an aftermarket cup holder that kind of attaches to the console, by the passenger's left foot. That's what most E30 people do.

I've had plenty of water cups to go and never had big issues, but those aren't that tall.
