Arrow Struggling to Find 18" BBK Friendly Wheels...

Looking to downsize to 18" wheels for the track...

Wheels must:

1. Clear front 380 mm StopTech BBK
2. Provide good fitment w/o spacers (no sticking out of the fenders)
3. Around 20-21 lbs each or below
4. Rated for at least 650 kg
5. 9.5" max front, 10.5" max rear

Anyone have other recommendations?

Check Out Paddy's Apex ARC-8 Setup

He's done a square 10" setup with Apex ARC-8's, but they have widths that allow a staggered setup. They appear to be a very good wheel for the money.

I saw that. But I would like to learn more about its JWL/VIA certification before pulling the trigger.

PM paintpro21 or post your questions on his commercial thread. He's the designer of the wheels.

How about the new 18" HRE Monoblocks - I thought they were supposed to be fairly light. Although probably not cheap!

Forgestar F14 Wheels

If you're looking for a customizable wheels with multiple widths and offsets available, why not the Forgestar F14 Wheels?

All Forgestar Wheels are JWL / VIA certified and even have load ratings stamped right onto the hub. There's also a wide range of sizes and offsets available. They're extremely light and can definitely take the abuse at the track as well.

18" F14's fit 380 BBK's?

Wasn't their load rating not enough for our heavy cars?

Forgestar F14 Wheels were originally designed to clear BBK setups and should have no issues clearing the 380mm brake setup that was mentioned.

In regards to the load ratings, Forgestar has re-tested all of their 18" wheel offerings and they have passed the load rating tests to withstand the weights that the new M3 carries. To my knowledge, they have added material in key structrual areas to withstand and exceed the load rating tests.

I believe so, the AP kit on the GT2 is some serious hardware.
They use to use BBS I think, but switched over to RAYS wheels.

Is there anyway we can confirm if Forgestar have indeed updated their wheels to meet requirements?

Are they JWL tested?

They are JWL and VIA certified as well as DOT and SAE certified. They have over 30 years of combined experience when it comes to automotive performance.

As for the updated load rating tests, I have contacted Forgestar to send them over for us to share to the members on this forum.
