I also had to sell my old e93 335i. because I also got three kids there is no way I could carry kids and wife on that e93 but I really like the look front of coupe. It's good thing that my m3 sedan has that look of coupe and 5 sits and I love the 6mt too.

Nice! Respect the dome, it's a sign of something special lurking underneath.

You may restate some of that after you wind your car out to 8,300rpm. Otherwise, nice write-up.

Yeah, I don't get comments like that either (and this is coming from an ex 335xi ownerj). The M3 has plenty of torque in my estimation for driving around town, but when you get up into those upper RPM ranges, watch out.

Sunday, I was driving for a little while at ~4.5K RPMS (I forget why, I normally don't cruise at that high an RPM), and my wife was commenting about how high it seemed I was revving it. I told her that was nothing for this car, and demonstrated when we were on the highway later that evening. I think she got the picture.

OP hasn't even experienced the full "M" yet and did a write-up comparing the two?

335 is a great car. It's really hdd to compare them to the M3 though. So similar but so different.

My favorite comment was the idiot who said, "I would NEVER get an M3! The gas mileage, is horrific for me. I mean you gas up three times during your average track day, while my 335I just needs 1 full tank for the whole day. Highway, and city gas mileage sucks epic too compared to the 335I." Yeah, that's because your car is in limp-dick mode after the 3rd lap and won't run anymore until it cools down for a couple of hours.
I know a guy with a 335Xi that is doing everything he can to make his car be like an M3. He even put an M3 steering wheel in his car. Not only do I think he's a jackass for doing things like that, but as I always tell him, it's still not an M3.
