I'd supercharge the M3. But then I'm not a big M6 fan.

M6. If you're going to have dismal fuel economy, you may as well have 500 horses. AC Schnitzer has made some very impressive two-tone 6ers. Their double cowl front intake is quite cool.

Supercharged M3.

Though, the V10 in M6 is a masterpiece.

I would take the V10 out of the M6 and plop it into my baby...or i would stick with my ess blower...never would I be caught driving that boat of a car around....to big, to poserish. not my taste at all. I think the m3 is more classy looking than that unnecessarily massive M6

Wow, how is a M6 poserish? You can drive around for months without ever seeing one. They aren't common at all. Few would even know what it is. Bottom line it's a $100K car in which you can find pristine examples today for half that. Plus you can get a 6MT in it. It's big but so is the M3. But the motor alone is why you should want it. You have to do nothing to the motor, which keeps it reliable. At least it isn't confused as to what it is. It's a GT, not trying to pretend it's a sports car like the M3 pretends to be. There are some men who prefer bigger coupes as they don't want the sports car experience, which is why Porsche made the 928 so long ago. The M6 is by far the better autobahn missile, which is why it exists. That's what German businessmen want. It's masculine as hell. It's easy to be critical of the M6 styling, but the same can be said about the E92 M3. BMW is not making the most beautiful car these days. They are all over-styled. All the hard edge lines look like shit.

SC M3. Even the VT-535 will have more hp and torque than the M6 and it will still weight 300+ lbs less. The M3 will also continue to have better handling as a track car and now it will also be faster in a straight line.

another thing, M6 is horrible at handling. the m5 outhandles M6 anytime. i want something that can handle, not just go in a straight. THERE IS MORE TO LIFE THAN HOLDING DOWN THE GAS PEDDLE AND GOING STRAIGHT. cant remember who said that line, but it is so true.

No BMW handles horribly. Christ! Why do you insist on trying to create such a gap in things to illustrate your point(s)? Of course, you and about 99% of forum contributors. For every one person who states the M5 outhandles the M6 you'll find another to express the opposite. Alpina and Tuner Motorsports didn't choose the 6er to race in GT for no reason. But back to the real world, no OEM setup is the end all. If you want any BMW to handle like it's on rails (or like a Porsche) then you're going to have to replace suspension bits, and definitely lose a lot of unsprung weight. Modern BMWs are heavy and BMW still wants to maintain civility for the masses. You make it sound as if the M6 can't turn. Unbelievably ridiculous. So you lost the power debate and went for something else? Just give it up. So how many miles do you have behind the wheel of a M6? Zero? I thought so...

Supercharged M3 by far - youll abolish the M6 in a straight line and around the track.

Might not be as reliable, but you assume that responsibility when you start modding.

Also, IMHO the M3 looks alot more agressive than the M6 - both are great cars, its up to you!

But for me, the blown M3.

I've driven an M6 and the acceleration that v10 gives you feels pretty nice. However, the SMG on it was clunky IMO.

Supercharge the M3 if you can handle the cost of repairs because your warranty will be out the window.

First off, easy with the anger issues, and relax with putting porsche on a pedestal. Second off, I said the m5, being a 4 door saloon will outhandle the m6...it has better chassis stability than an m6. and you know what? if u dont like my comment, wtf do i care? I dont see how the m6 is a nice looking car in any way. the m5 is so much more classy and bad ass. I dont like the m6. If that hurt your feelings little boy, go cry somewhere else

Seriously, you need anger management classes... It's REALLY not that big a deal bro. That said, i happen to agree...aside from the motor, there isn't much desirable about the M6. Yes, I've driven one AND an M5...and i have a friend who sold his e46 M3 for the M6...and regretted it. He's now back in an e92 M3 ZCP...
