2011 M3 DCT problem, WTF

Ok this morning I fired up the car, put in gear, then the car popped the clutch and stalled. The loud boom from the drivetrain shock scared me.
WTF?

Turned off the car and fire up again, the car struggles and repeatedly does the same thing, stalled again.

Same thing for reverse and forward gear.

It\'s a Sunday so I have to wait till tomorrow to tow the car to the dealer.

Anyone experienced this?

Sounds broken, it's under warranty, enjoy your loaner. Don't sweat it.

Sorry to hear that. Explain "popping the clutch" on a DCT, please.

it's just like you pop the clutch on a stick shift, exact same feeling.
