This question is for anyone that has had it done. Is the GTS DCT update something some coder modified or a true unaltered software made specifically for these cars? For those of you who have had this done what are the pros and the cons on this? I have been interested in doing it for some time but have been waiting for my warranty to end before playing with the software.

It shifts more aggressively. One annoying thing is it defaults to D2. I prefer D3 in auto mode

Alex is without a doubt the best person to code your car. I was just browsing the forums and came across a few threads about coding and saw his name mentioned a few times. Last Saturday I e-mailed him and we figured out what would be best for my car (GTS DCT + Jspec DME update + some coding).

I asked him when he would be free to do my car, and he said he would be available the next day, Sunday (On Mother's day!!!!) after I got off work. Long story short, there was an issue that came up with my coding my car and Alex handled it in the most professional and best way possible. I have never experienced such great customer service. He even gave me his thoughts on a few mods I was considering for my car.

If you are on the fence about getting your car coded/flashed/updated, no question you should hit up Alex, he'll take care of you.

After self-installing a CIC retrofit, I contacted Alex to do the coding for me.

This is what I asked for:
1) CIC retrofit coding
2) DVD in Motion enabled
3) Euro MDM
4) Delete Amber front headlights (might have this, have to verify)
5) the Window safety feature

In addition, he also did this:
1) shortened the duration I have to hold the lock to have the mirrors fold from 3 secs to 1 sec.
2) Added "DSC off" as an option to the "M" menu
3) Removed amber lights as part of the welcome lights

I paid $60. For everything. He helped me diagnose an install issue (forgot to move a plug over) and everything works like a champ. I could not be more pleased with his service or professionalism, and I greatly appreciate what he did to help me. HIGHLY recommended.

Can the Auto Start/Stop feature be completey coded out and disabled? Mine defaults off but sometimes I get this auto start/stop malfunction error and I just want it all disabled.
