Has anybody been able to compare Short Shift Kits? For example any comments on UUC Evo 3 vs. Rogue Engineering Octane??

I have compared both. I have the UUC + DSSR and it has no flaws/defects. It's a great kit but I did feel the RE SSK at EAS on their project M3 and I got to say I liked it better.

The RE to me is more smooth but click click action.

The UUC is more notchy but still click click action.

Good question as I am in the market for an SSK also. Is there any word on a Aito Soultions kit? I know there was talks of a group buy a while back.

I have a UUC Evo 3 and I like it a lot. I have also felt the AA kit and it felt nice too.

I have a UUC Evo 3 for sale. CHEAP!!

Still patiently waiting for UUC's "slop fix".....until than I would stay away from UUC ssk.

The slop is only associated with the DSSR. Without that optional add on, the EVO3 is actually a really good shifter.

I have No excessive slop. I got a dssr replacement a while ago.

I like the rogue. Very tight feel and no slop whatsoever. Only drawback with it is the spinning noise it makes when shifting from 1-2. It annoyed me at first, but then I got used to it.

I actually love the noise, is that weird?
The faster and higher up in the rev range you go the more aggressive it sounds too

I have the AA ssk. Nothing to compare to but I love it and have no complaints.
