Which x pipe have you tried with MPE?
I watched pretty much all videos and read all threads regarding MPE. Most say it is too raspy with additional add-ons (x pipes or test pipes)
I want to hear some feedbacks from the owners who likes the combo. Are they raspy to you? How's volume? I want to know X pipe with HFC products especially. Thanks everyone! Last edited by sojirovs; 11-27-2016 at 03:43 PM.. |

I have test pipes and it sounds amazing. Most XPipe setups do add a lot more rasp though...

I had tp and now full catless xpipe with mpe. I was satisfied with tp for a while but wanted more sound throughout the rpm bands so I went with Macht Schnell race x-pipe and got nothing but compliments.
It does have a little more rasp but nothing unbearable. Deeper howl/tone and f1 type pitch past 5k rpm makes me grin every time. Daily driving is fine and volume is just what I was looking for. |

I have MPE and resonated fabspeed x-pipe, but still factory primary cats, it sounds really nice but it's a touch too quiet almost! I'm thinking of going test pipes or high flow cats, but haven't figured out which way to go either. I really don't want to lose the exotic sound, so i'm stalling on this mod waiting to find/ hear the right answer; not sure if i should switch to test pipes and an x-pipe with cats or what. Lots of people talk about the MPE but not a lot on combos and sound with TP's or x pipe combos.
