Yeah man, Congrats!
Like everyone says, just be careful. I think of it like a firearm, It's a tool that can be very dangerous if you don't use it properly and in a safe area! But the ///M3 is better than a firearm cause it can get you laid!! j/k, wait till you're married

Secondly, "with great power, comes great responibility", yeah I know it's cheessy, but please don't wrap that beauty around a pool or anything like that. Third, take you time to get to know her. Feel her out and she'll let you know what she can do. Fourth, go to M driving school. Lastly, I hope you reallize how lucky you are and never forget that. Being spoiled is only when you don't appreciate what you got. Enjoy your new toys. Welcome. |

Congrats.
Take a BMW driving school so you can let some speed out of you. That should help with the speeding tickets. Enjoy it man

I'm just sayin' the statistics don't lie. I had a 250-ish HP Mustang when I was that age and I am lucky to have survived it. A 415hp car? That is begging for trouble.

Congrats and be safe. I was a pretty crazy driver until I got caught speeding 111 in 65 in Ohio.
Not trying to jinx you but when everyone first starts driving on the street, you will scrape your bumpers, you will get curb rashs, and, you will get into an accident. But that's how we learn as humans. Anyway, take care of your car. GL! |

Just remember when you accelerate hard into a turn that no amount of DSC or ABS can save you from understeering straight off of the road. That seems like the most common way people crash fast cars.
This just seems like a bad idea to me, like giving someone a Gixxer 750 as their very first motorcycle because they think it's safer than a 1000.

hey dude, you can't get mad at me because I'm 17, and while i would have loved an M3 as my first car...it just isn't right. You have nothing to look forward to, and i know i shouldn't be talking cus i also have a bimmer, but mine is a 328, and even though we own a dealership (only reason i have this car), my dad thought even a 335i was out of the question. So, be careful, because thats a whole lot of car if it is given to someone who doesn't know how to handle it. just my .02. but congratulations on the license, i know it was the best day of my life so far, and enjoy that hot rod
