"Rest" button on heater control module

Can someone tell me what the hell this "REST" button does on the heater control module in the middle of the right knob? I push it and nothing happens. I watch videos and I see it on in the videos with interior views. The manual seems to mention nothing about it but maybe I overlooked it. It's one of those functions, after owning my car a year, I still have no clue what function it performs.

Turns on aircon blowers when car is off and uses residual heat of engine to heat inside of car.

The REST button will blow warm air into the cabin after the car has risen to normal operating temps, the ambient temp is 59 degress (F) and below...AND...it can ONLY be initiated when the ignition is in position 1 or OFF.

You can use it to keep the car warm when you are running errands or stopped in traffic etc...you can turn the engine off and keep the interior of the car warm for up to 30 minutes OR until you turn the ignition back on.

Engine needs to be not running for REST to work. Residual heat to keep your car warm when you're getting gas or doing a quick grocery run.

I've owned my E90M for over 6 years, and know just about everything about my it, except this. Incredible. Very excited for winter now!
