Furry dice, leopard skin seat covers and a turbo badge of the boot.

Why, would that look be so wrong?

edit to my last:

My first mod must be...

Reflector Delete!

possible remedies:
  • BMW body shop fill & paint
  • body-colored plugs used for the license plate holes
  • ...or maybe retrofit a PDC sensor

body shop fill & paint doesn't seem to be an option unless you want to wait a month or two to clear bra it. Xcell's idea (and my current plan) is to take the reflectors off, clear bra the car, paint the reflectors, then poke them back on through the clear bra. I have no clue how you'd pull off the other two, but let me know if they are possible.

^ yeah, you're right about the body shop, the body-colored plugs were my first choice...

Enjoy the soundtrack:

http://www.bumperplugs.com/

maybe I'll buy some of these & paint them w/ BMW touch up paint:

do it yourself

I'll have a clean solution figured out either way...I don't want to put the reflectors back on; painted or otherwise.

There is a hole in the fascia the size and shape of the reflector so it might be difficult to fill. Euro bumper cover will be the best option for anyone wanting to do away with it completely. Painting the reflectors body color is probably the cheapest way to go, plus you get to keep your factory painted fascia. It doesn't really bother me much any more and I intend to leave mine as is. I'm getting AW so it just adds a little color to the front fascia. I don't like 'clears' but maybe that will be an option later for those who do.

The clear bra will likely have a big hole the size and shape of the reflector unless you go with Euro-spec clear bra.

Questions about tint and Clear bras?

Does anyone know if the rear windows of the E92 M3 have those tiny dots around the windows edge? I remembered seeing those who have tinted their E46 M3 and there was alot of bubbles. Ewww I hated that.

About clear bras, there are so many people adding them to their M3's. Does water eventually enters between the clear bra and hood/bumper and through time start to discolor? That worries me? I've never experienced clear bras and hesitant to adding it.

My mods list
1. Install my Blinder M25
2. Purchase another Valentine V1 Radar/Laser detector.
3. Wheels (dont know what brand yet. Will wait to see whats out there).

not if it's done right and with the right material.

I'm choosing the spray-on 3M product for the entire hood and bumper. The lights will be done with the cut-out vinyl.

Unless you are friends with a body shop or lucky enough to find one that is currently performing body work on the same color as your car; they usually don't crack open a color for part/price that small.

I wonder if bimmian.com wil be producing these. Going to call them on Monday. Man I hate those reflectors.

I'd recommend against the spray-on Mark. I've seen it yellow before and the spray-on is likely to be applied unevenly by the installer. You MUST have it done by Premier Mobile. They're the most respected clear bra installer on the planet, and they've done everything from Enzos to Veyrons. Being you live in SoCal there's no reason for you to not use them, as they visit SoCal every month (they're based out of NorCal).

Does anyone have recommendations for a clear bra installer on the east coast near Philly or NYC?
