Your average MPG currently?
Not that anyone really cares that drives an M3, but I was just curious. I see alot of 2008's coming off leases and I think it's a great time for me to pick one up.
So what is your average mpg? List: Drive it with a lead foot or mildly How many miles to the tank Thanks guys.

If you are concerned with MPG, you should find another car. Seriously, some days it could be 26, other days it can be 15, it depends on the road, your driving habits, and even the transmission.

What are you guys getting to the tank? I see 385 on average in my 328i. 85% highway travel to work. Can the m3 get close to 300 miles to the tank with 85% highway travel?

Beautiful!! My round trip is 67 miles to and from work. I would be happy with 325 to the tank.

12-13 mpg in summer. But its 14.5-15.5 depending on how much city or highway. Service tech says I'm not driving it fast enough [he's right]. Recent trip from Seattle to Portland, starting with a reset trip computer, mostly all highway driving , speed average 70mph, resulted in about 22.8 mpg. I felt dirty hyper-miling a M3. (2008 E92).
PS: I've started to give it more revs for more smoother shifts. That seems to have me in the 14mpg range more often.

2008 47k miles It is NOT a daily driver, it's my for fun race / weekend car. So when its driven we are on some twisty mountain roads or at the track / autocross. I do drive slow around town though! I don't think the wide tires help at all with mileage. We will see if it improves when I go back to OEM 18s.

I'm averaging 20.1, but that included a long highway trip from PCD. I'll admit: I can't figure out how to reset? Haven't got to that part in the manual, yet.
