The answer to that is in the post just above. But its hard to find stuff in a thread when people unnecessarily put the pictures in quotes, isn't it?

Screw the wagon concept. What we need is an AMC Pacer-styled M3. Way better lines than any wagon and full of win.

All kidding aside, anyway who thinks that BMW should make an M3 wagon should be dragged out and shot. Why on earth would you request the bastardization of the beautiful lines of the coupe and sedan by sticking an ugly ass bubble on the back. May you all burn in the firey pits of hell for such blasphemy.

That sounds more like an opinion about all wagons, not just an M3. A bubble is a bubble, after all. If you don't like it, its going to ruin any car.

True, but why take the beautiful concept of a M and bastardize it as a grocery getter?

If you want a sh!t-stain ugly souped up wagon then get a Dodge Magnum. Leave the beautiful lines of the M3 coupe and sedan alone.

I do not get why anyone on this forum would want a damn wagon!!! WTF is the point! The are awefull looking, heavy, and just plain obsolete.

THANK YOU BMW FOR NOT MAKING AN M3 WAGON!!! DONT MESS UP THE M3 BADGE.

Same applies to an RS4 Avant, RS6 Avant, C63 Estate, E63 Estate, M5 Touring, too no?

The Magnum no longer exists. Wagaons don't sell well in the USA. I suppose the 300C touring might still exist in some countries though.

I agree partially. The reality is that the RS4, RS6 and Mercs in their sedan state were not nearly as aesthetically pleasing as the M3 IMHO. The M5 Touring is likewise hideous.

At least bring the 335i wagon to the USA... BMW NA admitted they blew it on 5 Series GT and should have federalized the 5 wagon. I saw it at the Welt earlier this year and it is a gorgeous wagon. I hope we'll see a "higher" performance F30 wagon in the future.

What's up with all the wagon hate in the USA?

i don't have a family, but I don't mind owning a wagon; provided it's a cool model like an Audi A4 avant, MB C350, or BMW 328.

They already made an M3 with an ugly, bulgy back half; E93. Sorry E93 guys, but I think it ruined the lines.
