Oh no. You realize that this thread will be filled with nothing but hate for corvettes and regardless of their performance the interior will be the major topic of discussion (even though you did not ask about that). Good luck!

When you say that; is it in favor of the M3 or vette?

the old C5 Z06 had the same HP/Tq as the current regular C6. That car was good for 12.5-12.6 1/4mile runs all day. The M3 looks like its good for 12.8-13.0.

the reality is
99% of C6 owners won't be able to row the gears fast enough to keep up with a DCT M3 but the Corvette should be faster. The LS2 C6 is marginally faster. The gearing advantage 'almost' negates the difference "Most" LS2 C6 guys are high 12's low 13's@110-114 on regular tires at the track.

I've owned both. Assuming driver in the Vette knows what he's doing, the LS3 Vette will win. Won't be a huge margin though....those cars are difficult to launch. Having said that, I prefer EVERYTHING about the M3 over the Vette.

I ran a stock c6 in both my Porsche and my m3 and I pulled away slowly in the Porsche but the vette was slightly faster than my dct m3 and it was an auto vette.

I think we have 2 people arguing separate points here. Think everyone knows that the vette is faster, but not that much and that is NOT torque that makes it faster but power 2 weight. I believe you are both arguing correct points just not seeing the differences in each others argument.
