Competition Package or No ZCP?
I'm in the process of putting together my order build for my M3, I'm tempted to get the ZCP competition package, however I'm not a big fan of the ZCP wheels.. So please help me by addressing the following questions.
1. Can you notice the ZCP option when driving the car? 2. Is it something worth getting in your opinion? and why? PS. I'm a regular daily commuter .. no interest in tracking or racing... |

The cost of the ZCP is not the same. For every thousand, your note increases about $20 dollars, so that package alone will be about $60 more/month plus interest.

as long as the right offset and right tire size.. with or without zcp you can put on 20" without rubbing.

Since you are not a fan of racing/tracking why get a package that was mainly provided to enhance it? It seems even more pointless since you don't like the wheels, you should get the factory forged ones. Much better looking IMO and stronger if I'm not mistaken.

How many times must it be stated that zcp adds an extra 100 whp. So yes! Get it, it's worth it!

If you're a daily commuter, you should stick with 18 inches and get EDC.

I bought ZCP for the wheels, so if you don't like them...

zcp package also drops your car 10mm, so for daily commute, it can be a bitch going through those speed bumps/ditches... so i'd recommend no zcp...

I'll be honest. I don't know why you got the ZCP. You said this car was a daily driver, you had no plans on tracking the car, and you don't like the wheels. So you got a car that is going to be a rougher daily driver, fails to take advantage of the remapping based on how you intend to use it, with wheels you don't like. To each their own, I guess.
