need help from Ben or technician from TireRack

I apologize that the following does not pertain to an M3, but I am having difficulty with my wife's mercedes C350 luxury edition with 16 X 7 inch rims. Any insite is greatly appreciated.

According to the tirerack.com website the following wheel should fit my 2006 Mercedes C350

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

However, I went to Costco to install tires on these rims and they told me that the tire was rubbing the inner strut on the front wheels.

Is this true? I find it hard to believe that tirerack.com would sell wheels that would not fit the car that it is listed to work with.

Per my research, the stock OEM factory rim is a 16 X 7 inch and the offset is 35MM. The wheel I purchased from tirerack.com is a 16 X 7.5 inch with a 38MM offset.

Thanks for everyone's help.
