That looks like a fun trip, long with plenty of breaks, have fun!
That stretch I was talking about is after US190 something that comes off of I70 and heads south towards Moab. There is a gas station on I70 immediately afterwards, and then nothing for about 120 miles.

Have fun at the K! The road to Yellowstone that cuts through Big Horn Nat. Forest is pretty fantastic... If you have time to head up to Glacier as well, it's definitely worth it. Shelby Museum in Boulder is a nice little stop along the way: http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/dclange...7627240173026/ We wanted to hit the New Belgium brewery tour in Fort Collins, but didn't reserve our spot early enough. Enjoy your new environs - Yosemite, Muir Woods, 17 Mile Drive/Monterrey/Carmel, so many great places... We'll be out that way visiting family in November. Can't wait. Looks great! It never ceases to amaze me how SSII is so many colors in one. At times it looks silver, other times a faint sky blue, and here it almost looks like Space Gray. Such a bad-ass color. |

I hope to join this group very soon!
Looking for the following Combo (just in case any of you are looking to sell) hehe SSII exterior / Fox Red (Extended even better) DCT Transmission 08/09 (09 preferred) I look at this thread almost daily, I love SSII on the E90 M, its such a timeless colour and car. I can safely say a clean OEM + modded E90 M will be future classic. SSII is the color if you are going to keep this car for a long time. Its just beautiful! Congrats to all of you who have impeccable taste

It's definitely a beautiful color. I think this color will outlast, it terms of beauty and uniqueness, other E9X M3 colors. It will a very rare color for years to come.

New to the stable!
2008 6-speed. Weird, but I'm most pumped on it having split-fold-down rear seats! Had an '09 Alpine E90 M3 back in 2011, and have been missing it ever since.. LOVE THIS CAR.

Indeed it is! That would be the Wife's car. Let's just say the torque is really the defining factor between the two. I'm a big sucker for naturally aspirated cars so I'll always go for the M3 (in this case), but the torque in the 1M absolutely can't be ignored!
