I agree def an adult did that job... Freaking scumbags I am actually mad... why anyone would do that too someone's vehicle. It's completely uncalled for. I hope you find a good body shop and I wish you the best.

The less learned here for anyone should be do not park your nice car on the streets on halloween!!! It is just common sense guys!
Even as a kid I never destroyed someone else property. This is why you have parents to teach you right or wrong.

I caught my 3 1/2 year old trying to throw a rock at someone car in our driveway and corrected them immediately. Respect for other people property should be first.

I am sorry if my post was taken the wrong way. I should have clarified I never damaged any property intentionally and would have never keyed a car but my point was halloween night is notorious for hoodlum activity and its one of those times that leaving your car on a busy street full of hoodlums just should not happen as it is almost inevitble some punks will do something like this. Maybe it was adults which is even worse.

Either way I hope the body shop gets it all back to new and it does not hold you back too long!

Very sorry to see that. What goes around comes around, so they will get theirs one way or another. Hope a speedy repair for your E90.

Sounds like its time to get surveillance cameras. There's a couple of kids in my neighborhood that I wouldn't put past doing something like this. I would never leave my car outside the garage.

sorry to see this happen to you. Up in the Bay Area we had a problem with this woman
http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2010/09/29/25377/

SAN JOSE (AP) – A San Jose woman has been arrested for the seventh time in the past three months, accused of vandalizing luxury vehicles in Alameda and Santa Clara counties.

San Jose police arrested 30-year-old Nancy Chi Ni on Saturday after she allegedly vandalized a BMW 335, a Honda CRV and a Mercedes-Benz E-320 at Westfield Valley Fair mall.

Police spokesman Officer Jose Garcia says was Ni booked into the Santa Clara county jail on suspicion of three counts of vandalism and one count of committing a felony while out on bail. The San Jose Mercury News reports Ni had previously bonded out following an arrest for a similar offense.

Sheriff’s officials says Ni is being held on $1 million bail.

Attorneys representing her did not return messages or declined to comment.

A San Jose woman already facing charges of vandalizing luxury cars in Santa Clara and Alameda counties by scratching the paint has been arrested again for allegedly gouging two vehicles with a pair of scissors, authorities said Wednesday.

Nancy Chi Ni, 30, was arrested Saturday in San Jose outside the Westfield Valley Fair mall, where she allegedly vandalized a Mercedes-Benz E320 and a 2007 BMW 335i, said Amy Cornell, spokeswoman for the Santa Clara County district attorney.

Ni was out on bail at the time. Prosecutors believe she is also responsible for taking a pair of scissors to luxury cars in Pleasanton, Milpitas, San Jose, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale since June.

All the damaged cars were BMWs or Mercedes. Prosecutors aren't sure what prompted the attacks, and noted that Ni herself drives a 2009 BMW 328

and that's why haters are not driving M3s and we are. They can go fuck themselves.

It really hurts me to see this, not just a M3 thing, but a car thing. People who have no respect for other people's property are fuck heads.

Sons of bitches. Funny story, I caught a few kids my son's age (16) ding dong ditching my house. Caught them in the act and let my son bring on the ass whooping while my "telephone rang." Seems extreme but our house was vandalized 3 f'ing times when it was being built less than a year ago. Anyways, try not to park the car outside anymore, there's not much else you can do

Call and ask for Rett or Nathan and tell them Jurrian told you to call them. A lot of SoCal guys will recommend them as well on this forum.

Sorry to see about the damage, that really sucks... I believe in Karma so hopefully those people will get theirs some day.
was going to say the same thing. they're awesome

I also heard great things about them, reason why I didn't go there was that it was not an authorize shop by my insurance and the whole warranty factor was big to me.

I've always wondered what you can legally do if you find someone vandalizing your property. I'm not a pussy on these matters and I'm prone to getting physical, but I'm fairly certain the outcome would not be good for someone that beat the crap out of a vandal. So, to those more knowledgeable than me, what can you do other than call the cops? Note: this is a property crime and your life, or a loved one's life, is not in danger.

Yikes. Out of jealousy most likely. I know tons of people that do stupid shit like that. Most likely under the influence. Very worried as to how I'm going to handle having an 80,000 dollar car.

Great clip man! That's exactly what he needs. The stupid kid, I'm sure, who committed this act is another fine example of too many "Time-outs" and too few ass kickings.

just because a shop isn't authorized by an insurance company doesn't mean they don't provide good work. Ask me how I know...

Just letting you know

I agree, however, if your car is under warranty and you have the work done at a none BMW certified shop then BMW may void your warranty (I've been advised anyway).

This is horrible !!! I'm so sorry to hear this. Look on the bright side, the idiot with the mentality to scratch a 70K+ car is simply well, an idiot. He will probably never sit in the driver seat of an M3 let alone a BMW.
