Around the 13 mile Nürburgring? No, it would be much, much slower probably at least 10 seconds or even more than the normal M3. Having so little weight over the rear would make it very hard to put the power down coming out of corners, it would behave even worse than the C63s do in every video where it's pitted against the M3. The C63's willingness to light up its tires (thanks to its MASSIVE torque, which is hugely fun when it does hook up) is the main reason it's slower than the M3 around a track despite its superior power to weight ratio.

Almost forgot to address the topic, there's plenty of precedent for hilarious one-off test mules like this from BMW. They also have made M5 convertibles, that M5 CSL we saw last year and I'm struggling to remember the others I've heard of but I'm sure they offer valuable insight into vehicle dynamics in addition to being great fun for the employees.

Now i can understand why people made up the word "FUGLY"
That thing looks more of a mess than Japan's tsunami's aftermath.

I think a truck is a great idea, much better than their other recent MPV ideas. Maybe not an M, but call it an P28i or P35i.

Hahahahaha! That's all kinds of awesome. I would actually consider it, just for the shock value and the fact that I could move my mulch from Lowe's to home in 35 seconds.
