I don't believe everything I see or read in the media ... so this fellow below might just be totally in left field by putting this up as "fake" perhaps he is unhappy with his life since he cannot drive like Jeff Gordon Who knows ... I just enjoy the clip

you got a ticket because you didn't turn right on a red in montreal?

we aren't allowed to turn right on red on the island of montreal itself, but everywhere else you are allowed in quebec

but yeah cops in montreal can be very anal! they are hiding everywhere these days! they even stop pedestrians for jay walking!!!

You may have miss-read ... I did get a ticket for turning right on red downtown. I wanted to have lunch and looked for a parking space ... turned out to be one of my most expensive lunches ever (adding the cost of the ticket)

you should go to schwartz's on st-laurent. it is known to be the best; there's always a line! hopefully, it won't cost you over 100 for smoked meat next time
