Can anybody confirm that option 676 - HiFi Sound System has been effectively eliminated from the standard equipment list of the MY2010 1- and the 3-Series?

Yes, it is now Option 677 Premium Hi Fi System for the 1-series and Logic7 Sound System for the 3-series

Those are optional equipment, I was asking about standard equipment.

Although the brackets at the end of the title suggest that the ordering guide applies throughout North America, this is a U.S. list. Canada, though substantially similar, has different packages and order specifications than the U.S. so the list does not apply to Canada.

Standard seems to be the Stereo system with Radio BMW Professional (option 663).
