M3 4 or 2 door
Hey guys, I am new to this forum. I am in the process of looking for an 08/09 M3. I am not sure whether to get a 2 or 4 Door. Just wanted to see what your thoughts were on either one as far as pros and cons.
Thanks |

Coupe pros:
-Looks (subjective) -weighs a little bit less -easier to get aftermarket parts (new or used) -choice of CF roof Coupe cons: - not as practical for passengers getting in and out - very long doors (difficult to get in and out in tight spots) - More expensive - seats 4 (vs 5 for sedan) - Doesn't get rear armrest like sedan These are all i can think of right now. The smart choice seems to be the sedan, but for me looks was a big part of my decision. Just as a tip, you won't find many responses here so next time try posting in the general section for questions like these. Hope this helps.

ive read a few on these kind of post you might be able find more responses from past posts but id base it on if its going be a family car or just for you. generally people with kids get the sedan or they just like the body more... and coupes for looks and non family use ... is a easy way put it simply lol... but buy what you like. its going be your car, there isnt to much of a difference between the 2 performance wise.

4 Door was my choice. I had a 335i coupe but decided on the sedan for the M3. Love the looks and it was not only 3k cheaper for the exact same car minus 2 doors vs 4 doors and slightly different rear end. But its also a lot more convenient when moving things or people.

Yep.
Do you want to make it easier for people to get into the back of your car? Why? Kids? ok fine E90 Dog? Still coupe. I make mine deal with it. Plus it looks funny when he's getting in.
