New Garage Addition

I thought I would share this here since it is along side my M3.

The idea is to keep the M3 mileage down and enjoy it longer. It is disheartening to drive it home from work, during traffic, and can't get above 40 MPH. In the Volt, I just relax and play games in trying to regen. Plus, the Nav is pretty good, Bluetooth audio (I keep an iPod in the M3), Pandora, Weather, and even movie info keeps the traffic drive interesting. And literally, less than a tenth of a gallon of fuel has been burned in it this last week. I did go through about five gallons in the M3 on Saturday.

But yes, sort of Ying and Yang. I have been wanting to get a 3rd vehicle so might as well try something new and different.

That's pretty freaking sweet. I've been in the market for a daily driver and this is interesting. $299 on a lease and that kind of mileage. Hm...

The lease rates are ridiculous. I was a bit higher than that but I had zero dollars out of pocket and they paid the first month. I wouldn't want this vehicle after the warranty is up so leasing made more sense. I also believe they are smoking something when determining the residual. There is no way it will be worth what they had listed. But that just helps me.

And during the drive into my office this morning it hit its maximum value. It stopped climbing and now just shows 250+ MPG. By the end of next week I will certainly hit 500+ MPG. But sometime soon I am going to have to burn some fuel. They state that you need to go through two tanks a year and the engine should fire up every couple of months.
